This project brings the invisible wounds of war to light through photography and writing. The project was created and directed by Jen Johnson. It was made possible, in part, by funding from The North Carolina Humanities Council and generous corporate sponsorship and individual donations. It was offered in partnership with the Arts Council of Wilmington and New Hanover County. The photographs and writing were exhibited in 2015 at University of North Carolina Wilmington, Randall Library and in 2017 at The Arts Council of Wilmington.
Jen is available to offer photography and writing workshops for organizations or communities, for veterans and other populations. Learn more about the Invisible Wounds of War project here.
