About Jen Johnson
Jen is a photographer, writer, and creativity coach offering an integrative approach to creative awakening. She coaches writers, photographers, and other creatives to discover their authentic voice in their creative work and life.
Jen’s writing coaching specialty is nonfiction, including personal essays, memoir, and environmental essays. Her writing has been published in magazines, literary journals, blogs, and professional training manuals. Jen is the author of the chapter “Making Peace with Your Inner Critic” in The Creativity Workbook for Coaches and Creatives, Routledge, 2020.
Jen’s photographs have been exhibited internationally and are held in collections in universities, medical centers, and private collections. Her work is represented by Art in Bloom gallery in Wilmington, NC. Jen is a 2015 and 2017 grant recipient from the North Carolina Humanities Council and a 2016 grant recipient from the Arts Council of Wilmington and New Hanover County.
